The New King James Version (NKJV) is a translation of the Bible that draws from the 1967/1977 Stuttgart edition of the Biblia Hebraica for the Old Testament. Notably, the NKJV frequently references the Ben Hayyim edition of the Mikraot Gedolot, originally published by Bomberg in 1524–25, which was also used for the King James Version (KJV). Both the NKJV and KJV derive their Old Testament text from the ben Chayyim text. However, it's worth noting that the 1967/1977 Stuttgart edition of the Biblia Hebraica used by the NKJV employs an earlier manuscript, the Leningrad Manuscript B19a, compared to that of the KJV.
